Türkiye's exports for 2023

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that his country achieved a new record in its exports during the past 12 months until October, reaching $254.8 billion.
Erdogan pointed out that October exports recorded a 7.4% increase compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching $22.9 billion.
This came in a speech he delivered during the Inovalig Champions (a program for developing innovation in Türkiye) awards ceremony in Istanbul.
Erdogan expressed his pride in all companies that contribute to production, employment and export in Turkey, stressing that the steady increase in the number of companies applying to the Innovation Development Program every year shows that the culture of innovation has begun to take root in the business world.
The Turkish president pointed out that his country's annual exports were only $36.1 billion in 2002 when the Justice and Development Party came to power.
He pointed out that Türkiye ranks third in export growth among OECD countries in terms of the speed of increase in exports.
This new achievement is a positive indicator of the strength of the Turkish economy and the effectiveness of innovation and export support programs.
Türkiye's exports are expected to continue to grow in the coming years, supported by the following factors:
• Government investments in infrastructure and innovation.
• Improving the business environment.
• Increased demand for Turkish products in global markets.
These achievements are a strong incentive for Turkey to move forward in achieving its economic goals and consolidating its position as a global economic power.

He pointed out that despite all the difficulties and problems at the global level, Türkiye's exports continue their upward trend.
Erdogan stressed that increasing exports in terms of numbers is important, but the focus in the coming period must also be on increasing quality.
